Instructions for installing profiles onto instruments:
1. Download the relevant profile.
2. Copy the profile onto a USB pendrive.
3. Plug the pendrive into one of the USB sockets on the front of the Genie HT or Genie II, or the rear of the Genie III.
4. Turn the instrument on and press the folder icon. Navigate to the pendrive (pressing the ‘folder up’ button if necessary).
5. Select the profile by touching the filename. Press the copy button.
6. Navigate to the PROFILE folder on the instrument’s internal storage.
7. If replacing an existing profile, select the profile that is no longer used and press the delete button.
8. Press the paste button and the new profile will be copied into that folder.
9. To set the ‘quick start’ buttons, go to Settings (spanner icon) and press either the ‘Tests’ button (Genie HT) or the ‘Buttons’ tab on the Genie II and Genie III.
10. Press on the file selection ‘…’ button and select the new profile to set the button.
