Genie® II is an extremely powerful isothermal DNA / RNA amplification platform developed utilising state-of-the-art technologies. Although the design has been optimised for running the LAMP isothermal method, the instrument is a highly-flexible tool that can be applied to many chemistries requiring temperature control up to 100°C along with highly-sensitive fluorescence or luminescence optical detection.

With the Genie® II system there is no requirement for specialised laboratories with highly skilled technicians. The instrument is simple to operate from the 7" touch panel display. The integrated graphical user interface means that the unit can operate standalone, without the need for a computer. Result calling can be automatic and all data is logged to a built-in secure file system.

Genie® II can be run from 100-240V at 150W or from the internal rechargeable battery. The low weight, A4-size footprint, and freedom to operate from the internal battery mean that Genie® II is truly portable and suitable for "point of use" applications.

A USB memory stick interface is built-in for easy access to data files. A second USB port offers peripheral support for devices such as barcode scanners and external printers.
